The popular “Miss Mermaid” cruise boat will be operating on Gull Lake this year, the boat currently being prepared for launching at the R V Heaven boat launch, and apparently it will dock at the Parkland Beach Marina. For more information, check out Mermaid Cruises’ Facebook page.
Looking at the calendar, organizers realized that many more people will be at the lake the ecember 27th weekend than the January 3rd weekend so the decision was made to switch the dates. The ice will still be there for anyone who wants to curl again on the January weekend. Come down and have some fun at this traditional new years event in Birch Bay!
A Birch Bay resident youth is offering to clear snow from decks, driveways, and sidewalks to earn Christmas money. If you’d like to come to the lake and not have to worry about snow on your driveway when you arrive, contact him using the form below.
