Fibre Optic Internet Is Coming To The Bay!

It could come this summer!

UPDATE JULY 27th

IT’S TO YOUR ADVANTAGE TO SIGN UP BEFORE INSTALLATION STARTS (probably the 2nd week in July!!)!

Your late signup will delay your installation by weeks!

It is best to sign up prior to building because then when the equipment goes by they can do it at the same time, when people “see the equipment” and decide to sign up then we have to submit one calls for their location which can take up to 3 weeks, by then the equipment has come and gone, then we have to make special trips back to the customer to hook them up later, which extends the time it takes to hook them up, and of course costs more because of moving equipment 2x.

iF YOU HAVE A SEPTIC FIELD…

…and if the installation is coming through the back of your property, be prepared to mark the location of your field and mark a route for the drillers to avoid cutting through the field.

FIBRE OPTIC IS COMING, STARTING IN JULY!

We were advised this morning that installation will begin in the next couple of weeks, and EVERYONE should be online by the middle of September!

Two discount installation options are valid until July 31:

  • $600 up front
  • $0 up front, $30/month for 2 years

Missing Link out of Rimbey (Rimbey TV) has been awarded the contract to add Birch Bay and Birch Meadows to its fibre optic high-speed internet network. One source said it could be this summer, while another said it could be this fall. I have contacted the owner to find out when he expects to begin installing the fibre optic internet in our community.  I will update this post when more information is received.

Please contact Missing Link directly for more information.
