Completing the Census for the lake is easy and quick!

The Census Enumerator came by today to deliver the Census forms for the 2016 Census. Forms are needed for seasonal or second residences, so that the Census includes  people like me who get to live here and who don’t have another home (on another in Canada).

If your lake property is your second residence you can complete the form in a couple of minute once you have the forms with the access code. See the card below (which our Enumerator did not include at my house) for directions.

Fire Ban back in effect!

Lacombe County has ordered a Fire ban this morning in advance of the weekend. Please note, this ban includes all open fires but allows the use of gas/propane BBQ’s and heaters. The text of the notice is below. Please protect our community in the forest by respecting the ban and using extreme care with smoking materials.

Description:
All open fires, including campfires and charcoal briquettes, are prohibited. Portable propane fire pits and gas or propane stoves and barbecues designed for cooking or heating are allowed.
All fire permits are suspended and no new fire permits will be issued.

Member dues must be paid prior to the AGM to have a vote!

  • $40 Minimum per cabin
  • $100 Recommended per family
  • $100+ Optional – with our sincere thanks!!!
    (As decided at 2015  AGM, any amount > $40 will go into our capital improvement fund to further enhance our community)
