A crew of hard working volunteers, spent last Saturday (October 8th) spreading the load of gravel provided  by the County, on the “cripple Creek” pathway. “Cripple creek” was the name given to the pathway from Birch Cr. to the beach years ago, before improvements  to Birch Cr. drainage improved rainwater flow and dried the path. Despite the cool temperatures and the early snowfall, the hard work of these 9 people to made the walkway much more friendly for walks this fall and again next spring and summer once the snow is gone.
