During the summer and early fall of 2022 the new roundabout at the intersection of Highway 20 and Highway 12 will be under construction. During high traffic times you can avoid the congestion by going:
- North 2.4km from the Monkey Top on 50St / Range Road 12.
- Turn left onto Township Road 410, at the call phone tower
- Go 1 mile/1.6km west to Highway 771,
- Turn north on HWY 771 to Birch Bay & Birch Meadows.
From the edge of Bentley at 55 Ave to HWY 771 is a well-maintained gravel road.
